Model Overview

The 2010 Volvo XC70 Crossover is powered by a 235-hp 3.2-liter inline-six engine.  New for 2010 is a 281-hp turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine. Both are paired with a Geartronic six-speed automatic transmission, allowing driver selectable shifting.

Safety features include electronic stability control, side-impact and side curtain airbags, and all-disc anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution. Standard equipment now includes Bluetooth.

All Wheel Drive Geartronic- The XC 70′s AWD technology gives drivers the best of both worlds, traction when you need it, and two-wheel drive when you don’t.  The two-wheel drive featured reduces fuel consumption.  A new six-speed “Geartronic” Automatic Transmission has been developed to handle high torques developed from the Volvo engines.

Hill Descent Control- For a smooth and controlled hill descent in terrain or on steep rough roads, the 2010 Volvo XC70 offers Hill Descent Control (HDC). With the push of a button, you can easily and slowly descend the vehicle with the control of each wheel’s speed.

Dual Outboard Two-Stage Integrated Booster Seats with Adaptive Seatbelts-  These seats are designed to seat children of different sizes.  The seats offer extra comfort to little ones, but most important of all, added safety with specially adjusted force limiters that protect the child by using just the right amount of tension force in an impact.  Smaller children will also enjoy being seated higher, with a much more interesting view of the world around them.
